Ok, so I am terrified I am going to have twins. I am 8 weeks pregnant and go to hear the heartbeat soon. Now when you're pregnant with twins will the heart beat be louder or double IF twins are present? Ahhh, please help!! Thanks

The only way to really tell if you are having twins is via ultrasound. Two heartbeats can be heard in single pregnancies as the doppler will pick up heartrates from various parts of the womb.
