Ok, I am pregnant and on my 12th week. I went to my dr's office this week to hear my baby heart beat and I heard 2. She told me one was my pulse and the other was the baby heart. Now, keep in mind, I HAVE 3 CHILDREN and this is the first time I've ever heard this.. Has anyone experienced the same? Pls advise. Curious to know.. :)

Yes, its common for you to be able to hear your heartbeat as well as the baby's. Your heartbeat is usually alot lower though (around 60-80 Bpm) whereas baby's is much faster (usually 120-180) so it is pretty easy to distinguish mom's heartbeat from baby's.

So what happenes when you hear 2 heartbeats and both are fast, but the doctor still says one is yours? they didn't see twins on the U/S, but they didn't look either.
