I am now 37+ weeks and it seems that our little girl doesn't want to go head down, so if she doesn't turn by October 23-24 (date still to be determined), I will be going in for a c-section (my first one!!). I am scared because my other 3 were all vaginal deliveries, but I want my little girl out safely! If by chance when I go in for the c-section and they find that she is head down, they will induce me instead, but we will see!!! Good luck to all the moms-to-be!!!!!

Hi Jan Thats exciting, 37 weeks means you could have her any day now! I remember being so excited to meet my babies that I always hoped that I would be earlier than my due date. however I was 9 and 10 days overdue both times. I hope she turns around for you. I think I read that there are some excersises that you can do to encourage them to turn. My daughter didnt turn until sometime after 34 weeks so I was thinking of trying the manuevers myself. I dont know if they actually work though. Good luck! Keep us posted! ----------

I am 37 weeks also, I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago and found that the baby was really very low. My question is .... how commun is it for the baby to actually come early? I mean is it about as often as coming late... cause nothing would make me happier than if my baby came right now!!!!

Hello Laura You are also very close! I remember wanting to know the same thing and I looked it up when I was pregnant with my second and it seemed no one could provide a straight answer. I was always very overdue but I have had lots of friends who have had babies since me and most of them seem to have been within a week either side of thier due dates. I read somewhere that only 5% of babies are born on thier due dates. Sounds like they should give us a 'due week' rather than a 'due date'. Keep us posted!! ----------

Good News!!! She decided to turn!! I knew she did because I was in alot of pain on the weekend and she was moving like crazy!!! 38 weeks is not the best time for a baby to decide that, but at least she did!! Now it is a waiting game.....I too was 10 days over with all 3 of my kids, so I am fully expecting a November baby *sigh* I so wanted an October baby.....

Thats wonderful Jan!! Please let us know as soon as she comes, How exciting! With my two I always thought it would be a surprise to see what they looked like etc when they were born, but as soon as I saw them it seemed like I had always known them. ----------

Just me again!! Still pregnant with 4 days until my due date!!! Hope to have some good news soon- and I know what you mean Michelle about feeling like you have known them all along...it's an incredible feeling...Hopefully I will get to give my baby kisses and cuddles very soon!!!

Hi!! Just me one more time!! I am 40 weeks, 5 days now and I spent 1 day in L and D with contractions 3-4 minutes apart (not too painful) for most of the day, only for them to stop!! So I got sent home.... If I don't have her by next week it is induction city for me!! Hopefully this weekend...
