I found out that I am due on 6-6-6. How scarey. I already have three kids, all three if which were born three weeks early therefor I dont anticipate to actually have the baby on 6-6-6. The Dr seems to think that I just cant carry any longer than that.

I am 17 weeks & 1 day according to my last ultrasound and due on 8/8/06. Question for the pro's: It's only a few days difference but I just got a new OB and he is trying to tell me that I won't be 17 weeks until Friday and told me that my due date is still 8/8/06, those dates don't match up that would make week 40 8/10/06. Am I just making a big deal out of nothing? Also, I had a female OB all through the 1st trimester then I moved and now I have a male OB and I am just not as comfortable with him as I was with the previous OB, but everybody who is anybody in town recomended him and freely use the phrase "He is the best!" Is that enough reason to change considering I've only seen him once?

I dont know, that does sound a bit strange, you should ask him about that. It is possible he is mistaken. Also, if you are not comfortable with him then I would suggest changing doctors. I have a few friends who have the same doctor as I have had for prenatal care and although 2 of us really like her another friend of mine doesnt. Its just a bad match for her. Not everyone is going to feel comfortable the same doctors. I would listen less to what other people think about your care provider and rely more on what you are feeling. Being comfortable with your doctor is really important. Congratulations!! Healthy baby on the way, your getting close, you must be getting excited.

I'm due to have twins on October 23rd. I've had three miscarriages in 4 years of trying, so we are really excited about these two (and nervous!).

Due June 23, 2008. I am feeling nervous as I had a missed m/c in July, 2007 at 9wks. I am into my 11th week and have been put on pelvic rest. I have a bicornuate uterus. I am going for an ultrasound in 2 days. Had some bleeding issues last week. Just orderd a doppler today, can't wait and hope I am able to detect baby's heartbeat and not mine.
